Rising country stars Carter Faith, Dalton Davis, Kalsey Kulyk, and Brandon Wisham are on a mini Canadian ‘road trip’ and fans are invited to join the party.
Stop one was Toronto’s Rock ‘N’ Horse Saloon last night (Aug. 11), where this emerging wave of country talent took turns walking the intimate audience through the stories behind their songs and journeys to the stage. Kalsey, for example, reflected on the longevity of her breakout single “Love Me Like An Outlaw” (we spoke to her about it in 2023!) while Carter celebrated her Canadian debut.
The ‘road trip,’ presented by Umusic, continues tonight (Aug. 12) in Kingston at the Broom Factory (19+) before wrapping up tomorrow (Aug. 13) in Montreal at Le Studio TD (all ages) ahead of this weekend’s Lasso country music festival. Admission is free for all shows, making this a can’t-miss chance to discover four fresh faces in country music before they hit the big stages.
On that note, wondering where to find these artists after their road trip? Kalsey is bringing her summer single “Till I Get To Heaven” to several upcoming summer festivals, while Dalton is hitting the road with Kameron Marlowe later this month. Just before the release of her debut album ‘Cherry Valley’ Oct. 3, Carter is set to join Noah Cyrus on tour across the U.S. and Canada ahead of opening for select Marcus King Band U.S. shows and Kelsea Ballerini Australian dates. Brandon is also gearing up to support Tyler Hubbard, Austin Snell, and Lakeview on their respective tours. All of that is just the beginning for these rising stars!
