Ahead of a booked and busy 2026, British girl group Say Now closed out 2025 with a headlining New Year’s Eve performance at Mississauga Celebration Square, taking the stage ahead of the city’s midnight fireworks.
Formed in 2022, Say Now quickly gained a following online as needanamebro before signing with Atlantic Records and releasing a series of singles that helped define their R&B-fused pop identity. Over the past few years, the London-based pop trio has continued to build momentum through steady releases, growing industry recognition, and high-profile live opportunities, including major support slots in the UK.
Heading north for the first time, members Ysabelle Angeli, Amelia Onuorah and Madeleine Haynes drew a sizeable crowd of their own despite the sub-zero temperatures and delivered a polished, high-energy set that mixed winter classics and pop covers with fan favourites like “Brick by Brick” and “Don’t Text Don’t Call.” The set wasn’t complete without an electrifying performance of their viral hit “Supermarket,” TikTok dance and all.

After a full 45-minute show, the girls donned cozy faux fur jackets over their performance outfits and returned to the stage to help lead the final countdown, ring in the new year, and enjoy the fireworks. Bundled-up fans were rewarded with photos and autographs as the trio came down to the crowd for 20 minutes despite the continuing cold.

The girls are set to spend several days in the city, hosting an official meet-up for their Toronto Saylors before jetting off to New York City for their first studio sessions of the year.
