Justin Bieber, Tate McRae top 2026 JUNO Awards nominations

The nominees for the 55th annual JUNO Awards have officially been announced, setting the stage for a milestone year in Canadian music.

Justin Bieber and Tate McRae lead this year’s nominations with six apiece, marking the highest number of nominations either artist has received in a single JUNO season. Close behind are Cameron Whitcomb and The Weeknd, who each earned five nominations. For Whitcomb, the recognition represents a major breakthrough, with his first-ever JUNO nominations placing him alongside some of the country’s most established acts.

Daniel Caesar also picked up four nominations and will take the JUNO Awards stage as both a performer and the recipient of The International Achievement Award, recognizing his global impact and success.

Notably, the year’s top nominees span pop, R&B, rock, and country, highlighting the breadth of Canada’s music scene and its continued reach both nationally and internationally.

The 2026 JUNO Awards will be handed out over two nights in Hamilton, Ontario. The JUNO Awards Gala presented by Music Canada takes place on Saturday, March 28, followed by The JUNO Awards Broadcast on Sunday, March 29 at TD Coliseum (fans can purchase tickets for the big show). The broadcast will air live across Canada on CBC and CBC Gem, with international viewers able to tune in via CBC Music’s YouTube channel.
